This symposium was organized to bring together researchers
interested in diverse areas of muscle biology including skeletal, cardiac,
and neuromuscular. The
goal of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for the muscle community to
interact, share ideas, and create connections so as to increase our overall understanding
of how muscle develops and functions, and the mechanisms that contribute to its
breakdown in aging and disease.
